Nearly finished

It has been a long time coming, but here is my update
on the Lasata Rehab Project;

I'm sure I've made a name for myself at Sailing Associates
because of the nearly continuous parade of tools, wood, and supplies heading
down the dock over the past few weeks. But at long last I see light
at the end of the tunnel. With a few more trips
to the hardware and lumber store I'll install the edge moulding and all will be right again.

Here are a few photos of the project, and I'll say it again...
I've been so busy trying to get things done, that sometimes I forget to
take pictures along the way. So with that here it goes:

First here is how things basically looked when entering
lasata down the companion way:

 Old Salon

and now;

 New Salon

Notice the V-Berth, now with new oak bulkheads. The next phase
of the project will be to add edge moulding in the V-Berth, similar to the dark moulding you
see here in the salon. So, it's back to the lumber yard for me... Stay
tuned for more next month.
